Echo Bay Resort & Campground is more than a business to us—it’s a life we’ve built around what matters most: family, tradition, and a genuine love for the outdoors. We’re Steve and Kristen Cross, proud parents to our son, Caden. Our family adventures wouldn’t be complete without our dog, Lelu, who’s always nearby, whether we’re out on the water or welcoming guests around the property.

The way we spend our time is the heart of what Echo Bay is all about. Early mornings fishing as the lake comes to life, quiet afternoons exploring wooded trails, and evenings gathered around a campfire under the Northwoods sky, these are the moments that define this place. It’s not just about where you stay, but how you feel while you’re here.

Some of my greatest memories growing up were our family vacations up north — early mornings on the lake, the excitement of catching fish, and the simple joy of being together without distractions. Those trips weren’t about luxury… they were about connection. And those are the moments that stick with you for life.
